Introduction:
PCB Train Assembly is a fixed price assembly service with a turn-around from 5 working days. We supply at no extra charge any standard R's & C's listed below. You free-issue to us any other parts you require assembled.
You have ordered your pcbs on PCB Train so why not get us to assemble them for you? Our PCB Train assembly service provides fast and efficient hand assembly of prototype pcbs with free issued leaded, smd, or mechanical parts. You save time and effort. You can easily get an assembly price from the quote calculator. Just ship the parts with a clear component placement diagram specifying the number of assembled pcbs you require.
We will supply any resistors or capacitors of the types listed below without additional charge. So there is no need for you to purchase these components.
As soon as your PCB Train pcbs are completed, we will transfer them to our assembly division, match them up with your free-issued parts, carefully hand or machine assemble, inspect and onward ship your assembled pcbs from within 5 w/days of completion of the bare pcbs.

Our prices include free standard R's & C's supplied from our own stocks of taped and reeled components. These are listed below.
Assembly prices are based on the total number of discrete parts we assemble. SMD capacitors, leaded resistors, connectors, QFP's, etc., each count as one placement. So, 5 R's, 5 C's, 5 IC's, 5 connectors and 5 QFP's would count as 25 placements. Our prices assume a typical mix of electronic parts. On the rare occasions that there are a disproportionate number of difficult to place parts, we may quote you the additional costs before proceeding with assembly.
BGA and similar component placements (e.g.QFN) are specifically priced within our standard pricing model.
Customer supplied parts:
For orders under a total of 500 SMD placements, discrete SMD parts (non-taped and reeled) may be supplied.
For orders which exceed a total of 500 SMD placements, the components supplied must be taped and reeled and ICs must be tubed or waffle packed, otherwise our quoted assembly prices will be invalid.
If you require placement of non-taped and reeled SMD parts exceeding total placements of 500, email us for a specific quotation. We will require a marked up BOM identifying the non-taped and reeled SMD parts.

Quoted assembly delivery times start from the completion date of the bare pcbs.

£10.00 per consignment for UPS overnight tracked delivery.
Warranty:
We will re-work at our cost any part not placed in accordance with your placement diagram provided that the assembly is returned to us.
How to order:
When ordering PCB Train bare pcbs, tell us they are for initial shipment for PCB Train assembly. Submit your pcb assembly order to us by e-mail including a Bill of Materials. Ship your free issue parts to us clearly marked on the outside with your client name, pcb reference, your order number, and address it to "PCB Train assembly, Newbury Electronics, Faraday Road, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 2AD". Include a component placement diagram, bill of materials and copy order in your package.
